Cycling management gameIn development
You don’t pedal.
You direct.
In Bordure you are the sports director. You build the season, write the race plan, then follow the race from the team car, radio in hand. The riders decide; you steer them.
Two short films, 46 s and 44 s · in French
The game
Cycling, seen from the car.
No commands for power, line or attacks: only intentions, meaning a plan, roles and radio instructions. The rest belongs to the riders, the road and the other teams.
Before the season
Calendar, priorities, training, squad, selection: part of the season is won before the first start. The staff proposes a complete programme; you only rule on the exceptions.
During the race
A team plan, a race feed, radio instructions. You can also do nothing at all: with no input, the race runs to its end on the plan alone.
After the line
A debrief that tells facts from interpretations. Then the programme, the market, progression and reputation take over, from one season to the next.
Intentions, not commands
A plan, roles, instructions. Never a power output, never a line through a corner.
The same rules for everyone
Opposing teams play the same plans and perceive the race as you do. No winner is written in advance.
Imperfect information
Every piece of information shown is dated and sourced: observed, reported, estimated or unknown.
Same seed, same race
Same inputs, same commands: same result, whether the race is played at ×1 or ×64.
Around the race
A career, not a single Sunday.
A career never ends: every season, contracts, budgets, calendars and squads are renewed, for your team as for all the others.
A UCI calendar
Race classes, monuments, grand tours. You apply; organisers invite, and the staff repairs the programme.
Fictional or real
An invented peloton, or the 2026 season as it really is. The content format stays open to mods.
Contracts and transfers
Negotiation, promised status, scouts, retirements, new professionals: the market never stops.
Budget and sponsors
A ledger kept to the cent, sponsors to renew, and equipment suppliers that provide kit, or pay you.
Training in blocks
Blocks, camps, individual instructions: form is prepared months ahead, and shows at selection.
Draft mode
Found a team, then the whole peloton picks its riders in turn from the same pool.
National teams
A national selector calls up one of your riders: you decide whether to release him for his country or keep him.
French and English
Interface and race commentary in both languages. The language never changes the result.
Films
Two films, two scales.
The race seen from the car, the season seen from the desk. Two short films to watch full page, with their chapters. Narration and on-screen text are in French.
Film 01
46 s
The race, end to end.
Forty-six seconds in the car: the plan, the opponents, the start, the radio, the gaps, the finale. What you decide, and what the engine decides without you.
Film 02
44 s
A whole season in your hands.
Forty-four seconds to go from a single race to a whole season: form, programme, training, messages, rankings, market. A race is prepared long before the start.
Development blog
How it’s built.
Three in-depth posts on what happens under the hood: the race engine, season planning, Draft mode. Written during development, with the measured figures and the limits that remain.
A race is five seconds repeated thousands of times
Nobody writes the outcome of a race in Bordure: not you, not the game. Here is what happens between the start and the line: the physics, the riders’ reserves, the groups, the AI shared by every team, what each side knows about the race, and a radio that always arrives a little late.
A season is planned before it is raced
Dozens of races to spread across some twenty riders: nobody should fill in that table by hand. In Bordure the staff proposes a complete programme as soon as the season opens, you only touch the exceptions, and what you decide is never overwritten. Here is how that programme is made, then kept up to date, month after month.
Found a team, then pick riders in turn
In Bordure you can start from a blank sheet: you found a team, then the whole peloton, yours and the opposing teams alike, picks its riders in turn from a single pool. Same rules, same information, no result written in advance. Here is how the draft is organised, how the opposing teams choose, and what we measured.
